December 10, 2015 (La Mesa) – This year’s Christmas in the Village will feature snow, Santa, carolers, holiday movies, kids’ face painting, fire pits, entertainment and more family fun. The event will be held rain or shine on Friday and Saturday, December 11 and 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the historic La Mesa Village.
The festival, organized by La Mesa Village Merchants Association, takes place on La Mesa Boulevard near Spring Street. Consider taking the Orange Line trolley which stops directly across the street from the festival site.
Holiday movie favorites will be shown on the big screen each night beginning at 6 p.m.
A 15 foot Christmas Tree outside the British Shoppe at La Mesa Blvd. and 4th Avenue was donated by Pacific Sotheby's Realtor, Laura Lothian
Specialty shops & boutiques open until 8 p.m., and restaurants and bars even later.
