SPRING VALLEY HIT AND RUN CRASH RESULTS IN FATALITY

October 24, 2023 (Spring Valley)-- on October 20 around 3:34 a.m, California HIghway Patrol reported that a 54-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the number 3 lane of eastbound State Route 94, east of Spring Street.

While the victim was walking on State Route 94, a vehicle was driving eastbound on State Route 94, toward the pedestrian. The vehicle struck the pedestrian and subsequently fled the scene eastbound on State Route 94. The pedestrian died at the scene of his injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation. The identity of the deceased will be released through the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office.
