March 10, 2019 (San Diego’s East County) -- Sprites of East County, Class of 2019 will host its annual fundraising benefit, “Sprite Fest” on Saturday, April 6 at 4 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay (1441 Quivira Rd., San Diego) to raise money for the nonprofit organization’s philanthropies.

Established in 1968, the mother-daughter philanthropic organization currently has over 200 members, raising up to $50,000 and volunteering up 5,000 hours annually for San Diego charities.

Members strive to instill the practice of giving back to the communities where they reside.  This includes providing meals to the hungry, companionship and assistance to the elderly, care to children, assistance to the physically and mentally disabled, and scholarships to deserving girls in the community.

East County Magazine readers who attended our East County Fest last year at Mission Trails may have met some Sprites members, who volunteered to help us at our event. Their help was deeply appreciated and the Sprites were wonderful to work with!

The Annual Benefit will include a program, silent and live auction, dance performance, dinner, dessert, and no-host bar.  Tickets are $75.
