Drivers hoped For Romney / Ryan Victory in Nevada

September 25, 2012  (Las Vegas, Nevada) -- Competitive Metals has been the primary sponsor of Justin Smith (Pro-Lite), Dave Mason Jr. (Pro-buggy) and Geoffrey Cooley (Pro-Buggy) for the entire 2012 Season of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.  But last weekend when the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series rolled into Las Vegas the Team Competitive cars had a different look.  Competitive Metals President Greg Parker of El Cajon opted to utilize his sponsored real estate on the race cars to promote Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan. For race results, see this link.

"This might be the most important election we've seen in our country in a very long time.  The nation is changing before our eyes," said Parker. "We need to see some change for our businesses, for our economy, and most of all for our freedoms and way of life as Americans. Giving up our sponsorship and promoting the Romney/Ryan Campaign was a way that we could help encourage the restoration of this great nation."

Drivers Geoffrey Cooley and Dave Mason Jr agree with Parker and are both college freshmen who will soon be attempting to join the workforce, but could be challenged by current high unemployment rates, especially with college graduates. They will be seeking a win for Romney/Ryan in Nevada this weekend and in November.  The race cars were on display Thursday night in downtown Las Vegas before hitting the track Friday and Saturday night at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
