THREE PEOPLE SHOT IN EL CAJON: SUSPECTS REMAIN AT LARGE

January 12, 2012 (El Cajon ) – El Cajon Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at noon today at 1010 Leslie in El Cajon.  Police located three victims, all with non-life threatening gunshot injuries. Possible suspects are described as three black men and a Hispanic man, all in the 20s, who may have arrived in a newer black four-door vehicle.

“A number of witnesses at the scene were uncooperative and many reported they did not see anything,” Lt. Mike Moulton said. The suspects’ identities are unknown.

Victims include a man, 24, with a minor head wound found in the 1000 block of Magnolia, where he had fled. He was taken to a hospital as a precaution.  Two other victims, both found in the 1000 block of Leslie, were a 19-year-old man with a minor wound to his back and a 17-year-old female with a minor wrist wound. They were treated at the scene by paramedics and released.

There is no additional information at this time and the investigation is continuing.
