The Green sector and sustainability are the future of the global economy, if we are to overcome the challenges of climate change.  In the near future, all jobs will have a sustainability component and all businesses will as well.  What does Green success require, and what does it take to succeed in this  emerging sector? Expert Green leaders will speak on this topic, and a hands-on workshop will enable attendees to vet and refine their Green goals. Attendees at Green Experts Academy, will experience  dynamic seminars and workshops. Previous attendees report that they come away inspired and empowered with cutting-edge information. This excellent event is designed to help people create a work path with meaning, and  to take the next steps to reach their Green career and business goals in a bright spot of a troubled economy. This event is sponsored by Cricket Communications, Inc.

Green Experts Academy Founder Kathleen Connell states about the event: "The Green Economy is the one bright spot in this Great Recession.  However, Green jobs are being created in San Diego, as the region is a hot spot for cleantech, biofuels, consumer businesses, electric vehicles, environmental preservation and much more.  That is a good thing for job seekers, career changers and entrepreneurs. It is also good for the environment, as climate policy is not coming out of Washington's gridlock this year.  So businesses are stepping up and starting up.  Rarely does a sector emerge which is absolutely critical to our well being."

Connell also observes: "Green is crucial, as transitioning away from carbon is the only hope for mitigating climate change. Everyone should get engaged, for our present prosperity, and for the future.  Green Experts Academy's mission is to enable that engagement.  The good news is that very soon, every job and business will be Green.  The time to get informed is now.  The opportunities are increasing every day, but folks have to know where to look. And we provide that guidance." Kathleen Connell is the author of The Green Jobs Transition, recently published in the San Diego Union Tribune, and the producer of many sustainability events dedicated to public education.  She is the Principal/CEO of Connell Whittaker Group LLC (CWG LLC), a sustainability business consultant, policy expert, public educator, former NASA executive and a hurricane survivor.  Connell can be reached at kconnell@thecwgroup.com for further information and media interviews.
