TURKEY TROT AND MOTORCYCLE RUN IN RAMONA NOV. 30

November 28, 2013 (Ramona) – Two of East County’s more unusual holiday traditions will take place this Saturday in Ramona.   The public is invited to bring new toys, clothes, gift cards, household items or donations  to the Holiday House Motorcycle Run, which helps the Ambassadors Foundation benefit children, senior citizens, military members and animals.  Later , the Ramona Trails Association and San Vicente Saddle Club will hold a Turkey Trot for outdoor enthusiasts, with a potluck lunch at Hellenback winery.

 (Note: Saturday’s Turkey Trot is not to be confused with another Turkey Trot held Thanksgiving morning at the San Vicente Reservoir.)

The Holiday House Motorcycle Run takes off at 9 a.m. at TL and Associates, 780 Main Street, Suite #. For information call 858-735-5542.

TheRamona Trails Association  Turkey Trot starts at 10 a.m. and is open to hikers, bicylcists and equestrians on Mt. Gower trail, followed by the potluck lunch at Hellenback Ranch.
