December 1, 2011 (La Mesa) – For two nights, December 9 and 10, La Mesa’s downtown village transforms into a Victorian-style winter wonderland complete with horse-drawn carriage, bonfires, carolers, strolling minstrels, an a parade at 5 p.m. each evening.
Sponsored by the La Mesa Village Merchants Association, the festival also includes carnival rides, ponies, puppet shows and live music at multiple stages. All specialty shops, boutiques and restaurants stay open until 10 p.m. and the event also features booths featuring crafts items, making this an ideal place to do some holiday shopping and support local vendors.
New this year, laser tag is offered for the whole family.
