WILD GRACES ART EXHIBIT AT MISSION TRAILS MAY 23-JUNE 19

May 13, 2015 (San Diego's East County) - The Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation (MTRP) will present an exhibition featuring two award winning photographers Jodie Hulden and Robert Treat. This exhibit will be on display in the Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center Art Gallery May 23 – June 19, 2015.  The public is cordially invited to a reception in honor of the artists on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

About the Artists:

Jodie Hulden ~

Jodie is a San Diego artist whose contemplative photography focuses on the natural landscape. Jodie has a degree in art from San Diego State University where she worked primarily in textiles and artists books. She began her exploration of black and white photography in the 1970s and transitioned to digital photography in 2001. She has won numerous awards and has exhibited her prints throughout California. Jodie has studied with Carlan Tapp and Michael Frye.  She completed a mentorship with photographer George DeWolfe in 2013. Her work can be found at www.jodiehulden.com.

Robert Treat ~

Robert is a California painter and photographer whose work is exhibited and collected nationally. His formal training is in architecture and fine arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduation, his interests expanded into large format photography and animation. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to study with a variety of creative individuals including Ansel Adams, Paul Caponigro and Chuck Jones. Along with his painting and photography career, he has been involved in the Hollywood animation industry for over 25 years. Robert currently resides in San Diego. His work can be found at www.roberttreat.com

The MTRP Visitor and Interpretive Center is located at One Father Junipero Serra Trail, San Diego, CA 92119, and it is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Admission is free.
