February 14, 2023 (San Diego’s East County) – A 51-year-old San Diego woman is under arrest after running a red light and striking a motorcycle, causing death of the drive yesterday morning, according to San Diego Police Dept.
The victim, a 67-year-old man, was riding his 1986 Yamaha SRX-6 motorcycle westbound on Navajo Road when he was struck by a 2020 Kia Soul at the intersection of Navajo Road and Bisby Lake Avenue. He was ejected onto the roadway.
He was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he died a short time later.
