June 24, 2012 (San Diego’s East County)— Katarzyna Johnson, 28, violated a domestic violence restraining order by entering  a residence in the 200 block of Lilac Drive in unincorporated El Cajon last night at 7:19 p.m., armed with a knife in an effort to take her child.  According to a Sheriff’s news release, Johnson had previously made statements about taking her daughter with her to heaven to see her father, who died recently.
A man living at the home intervened and was cut in the process.  Alpine Sheriff’s deputies responded to the assault call, but the suspect had fled the area before they arrived. Officers later found the hotel where Johnson resided in El Cajon.  She was taken into custody at 10:42 p.m.

Johnson is charged with burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, and violation of a restraining order with injury.
