December 6, 2011 (Mt. Helix) --We joyfully invite our readers to join us in an afternoon of festivities at our annual holiday party!  Come join the fun -- and help support the East County Toy and Food Drive as well as East County Magazine.

The event will be held Saturday, December 10 from 2-6 p.m. at our editor's home on Mt. Helix. (Address/directions provided with RSVP). Join us for feasting and merrymaking, wine tasting, live music by jazz pianist Danny Green, prizes, drawings, and games galore!

We'll have chestnuts roasting on an open fire, good friends and good cheer, with caroling at party's end for those who wish to stay, sing, and if you play an instrument, bring it!  We'll also auction some items, with proceeds split 50/50 to benefit the East County Toy & Food Drive and East County Magazine.

PLEASE RSVP EARLY so we can be sure to have enough great food and holiday cheer for all.  (619)698-7617 or editor@eastcountymagazine.org

Suggested donation: $10 (free to our writers, photographers, interns and volunteers)

If you can, please bring a new, unwrapped toy for the East County Tioy & Food Drive. This year, there are more families than ever in need, and so far the drive has not received enough donated toys to assure at least one gift for every child on the list.

We also welcome more sponsors for food or beverages, prizes, toys, and funds.

Our hearty thanks to our very generous sponsors:   La Serenissima Winery, Zeytoon Persian & Mediterranean Restaurant, Alpine Submarina Sandwiches, Grove Bakery, Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, SDS&U Adams Project Performers Network, Mission Trails Regional Park, Cowgirl Bling, Shaklee, and more to come!
