“BLOOMING FASHIONS” SHOW MAY 6 BENEFITS FRIENDS OF EAST COUNTY ARTS

April 8, 2017 (El Cajon) --  Friends of East County Arts, Inc., supporting the arts in East County since 1984, will present “Blooming Fashions” show at the El Cajon Elks Club #1812 on  Saturday, May 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This year’s event promises participants a relaxing afternoon of complimentary champagne on their arrival, delicious catered lunch and the latest fashions from “Macy’s” at Grossmont Center.

You will also be able to participate in a silent auction, and opportunity drawings.

A special treat this year will be the opportunity to purchase glass fusion flowers handmade by students at Flying Hills Elementary, a grant recipient.

Entertainment will be provided by one of the organization’s  past grant recipients.

Friends of East County Arts, Inc. a philanthropic 501c(3) organization of 100 members volunteering time and energy to further the growth and development of audiences for the visual and live performing arts and to support the fine arts and artists in the Greater East San Diego County, has contributed more than $800,000.00 to art-based programs in the community.

Friends of East County Arts, Inc. was able to give over $31,000 to grant recipients last year
