June 4, 2023 (San Diego) – Ballots will be mailed the week of July 16 for the August 15 special primary election in San Diego’s 4^th Supervisorial District. This election will fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Nathan Fletcher following sexual misconduct allegations. If no candidate receives a majority vote at the primary election, then a special general election will be held on November 7, 2023.
