June 3, 2010 (San Diego) – San Diego Police are seeking two white men and a woman in a dark-colored SUV with a tire rack and spare tire on the roof. The vehicle approached an 11-year-old boy who was walking home from a tutoring class shortly after 4 p.m. today in the 12700 block of Carmel Country Road. One of the men ordered the victim to get in the vehicle; a woman in the backseat appeared to be holding a handgun, SDPD reports.

A peach-colored car drove up just as the boy was told to get into the SUV. The driver of the car told the victim to run away. He fled to his home and police were called. SDPD’s North Western division is handling the investigation.  Police ask help from the media and the public to get word out about this attempted kidnapping in hopes of apprehending the suspects.
