May 1, 2015 (La Mesa) -- San Diego Las Hermanas "(The Sisters") invites you to  their "Boots & Bling" fundraiser on Saturday, May 9 at the La Mesa Community Center. Grab your partner, throw on your cowboy boots and hats, and join the festivities including live Country Western music, BBQ dinner, drawings, live auction, card tricks and comedy magic, line dancing instruction, and entertaining antics by  Master of Ceremonies Yosemite Sam.

This dynamic group of philanthropic women was formed over 50 years ago and continues going strong, raising money for various charities, focusing on San Diego's East County. Tickets are $100 per person (adults only).

About the philanthropies:

FOSTERING OPPORTUNITIES SCHOLARSHIPS

Fostering Opportunities/Dollars for Scholars is a program that provides financial support and mentors for foster students to obtain higher education. Government assistance is terminated for all foster children at the age of 18, regardless of circumstances or potential. Fostering Opportunities gives these children an opportunity for success in their adult life.

INCLUDE AUTISM

Include Autism is a local charity that provides inclusive and empowering services for youth with autism as well as outreach and education in the community. The unique Community Coaching program helps children and teens with autism thrive as active, included, and contributing members of the community by offering community-based learning experiences in real-life, meaningful settings.

Boys & Girls Club mission is to inspire and enable youth from disadvantaged circumstances to realize their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
