Solar

It's very expensive to install solar in a home. The time to recover the investment can be twenty years, an average homeowner will never see a return on the investment.

Totally Agree

The previous commentator is correct. WE MUST ACT TO STOP the constant rate increases by SDG&E!!
Use as little energy as possible. Get solar panels on your homes. Use alternative energies that do not require grid power. Attend CPUC meetings to oppose rate increases requested by SDG&E!!! Contact Governor Brown; ask him to appoint people-oriented commissioners to the CPUC, instead of people like former CPUC president Peevey, former head of a public utility and primary schemer to force us to pay for management errors at SONGS!! Corruption of this kind is raising our rates every day!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

Energy Saving Tips?

We pay some of the highest rates in the nation. So Damn Greedy & Expensive.
I used to cook and bake great meals but now keep it simple. Soup and a sandwich.
"SDG&E also wants to pass on to customers an 8 percent increase in medical insurance premiums for its employees." Great.

It's a legal monopoly, you can't buy electricity anywhere else. I do what I can to reduce my use.
