January 17, 2018 (El Cajon) — A woman stabbed near a bus stop in the 100 block of West Madison Avenue in El Cajon by another woman yesterday at 3 p.m. was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead. According to Lt. Walt Miller with El Cajon Police, the victim and her pet pit bill dog had exited a vehicle to confront another woman.
“It is believed that an argument may have occurred between the two women, when the woman near the bus bench produced a knife and stabbed the other woman multiple times.,” Lt. Miller states.
The victim’s name has not been released pending next of kin notification by the Medical Examiner’s office.
The suspect is described as a black female in her twenties 5’6”, 125 pounds with black hair and dark eyes. She was wearing a gray sweat-shirt and dark jeans. Homicide investigators are exploring the possibility the two women may have known each other.

Anyone who can provide more information on this crime, and those apparently involved, would be greatly appreciated.
According to the Sheriff's "who's in jail" link the spelling is Alayah, not Allayah. Still looking for official confirmation of the victim's name and any other information on her.
