November 15, 2009 (Santee) – Nutrition Zone, a retailer of discount sports nutrition and weight loss products, didn’t just talk about fitness at its grand opening last weekend. Guests climbed a rock wall, jumped and bounced on giant inflatable recreation devices. On hand were fitness and nutrition experts to advise on everything from diet to exercise to shedding unwanted pounds. Not a couch potato in sight!
“Our main focus is educating people on health and what they should be looking for in health supplementation for a healthier lifestyle,” said Ryan Cullenward, manager. “Our prices are all wholesale, so it’s comparable to Internet pricing, or about half the price of GNC,” he added.
Nutrition Zone started in Orange County and has rapidly expanded across the country, recently opening stores in New York and Colorado. The Santee franchise opened July 13 but hosted a grand opening November 7th, including a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Santee Chamber of Commerce.
