CLAIMS MOUNT AGAINST CITY OVER SDPD OFFICER'S ACTIONS

October 14, 2014 (San Diego)--The City of San Diego has thus far had to pay over $8 million to settle cases with 14 victims who said they were sexually assaulted or subjected to inappropriate sexual advances by former San Diego Police Officer Anthony Arevalos.  Almost two dozen women have lodged complaints ranging from groping to harassment by Officer Arevalos over a number of years.

EX-SDG&E WORKER CLAIMS HE WAS FIRED FOR SPEAKING OUT ABOUT FAULTY GAS DETECTION DEVICES

May 8, 2014 (San Diego) – A former SDG&E employee has filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the company.  Michael Goncalves claims he was fired after speaking out about faulty devices used to check for gas leaks in homes.
