ECM PADRES REPORT: DBACKS SLITHER OVER PADRES

August 17, 2023 (San Diego) - After a good series against the Orioles, the Padres welcome the Diamondbacks back to Petco Park.  Zac Gallen started tonight’s game one for Arizona against Rich Hill.

Tommy Pham ended the pitcher's duel in the fourth with a two-run blast and Gabriel Moreno added a solo shot in the fifth.  Trent Grisham singled to score Jake Cronenworth in the home half, but the Dbacks easily took a 3-1 win to open the series.

Game two is tomorrow night at 6:40 p.m.  Brandon Pfaadt starts for the Dbacks against Seth Lugo.
