May 13, 2023 (Los Angeles) - The Dodgers kept the Padres down last night, so the Friars looked to rebound tonight.  Grossmont High alum Joe Musgrove started against Julio Urias for L.A.

Juan Soto started tonight on a better note for the Padres with a solo homer in the first.  It was destroyed by J.D. Martinez’s three-run bomb in the home half and the Dodgers led 3-1 after one.

Ha-Seong Kim joined in with a solo homer in the second and the Dodgers led 3-2 after two.

Will Smith singled in the third to score Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers took a 4-2 victory and the series win.
