June 18, 2017 (Milwaukee) - Riding the momentum from yesterday’s extra innings win, the Padres attempted to take the series from the Brewers today in game three.  Luis Perdomo started against Jimmy Nelson.

The Brewers knew a low score would finish the Padres, so after Erick Aybar’s RBI single in the fifth that gave the Padres the lead, Hernan Perez and Manny Pina both homered in the sixth to give the Brewers the 2-1 win and the series.

The Padres stay in the Midwest tomorrow and head to Wrigley Field to take on the Cubs.  First pitch is at 5:05 p.m.  Clayton Richard will start against Jon Lester for the Cubs.
