June 10, 2023 (Denver) - The Padres swooped into Denver with a mission that they accomplished last night.  They looked to take the series tonight with Ryan Weathers on the mound against Denver native Kyle Freeland for the Rockies.

Gary Sanchez kicked things off with a single in the first that scored Manny Machado, but Nolan Jones tied it up with a solo homer in the second and we were tied at one after two.

SDSU alum Alan Trejo broke the tie in the fifth with a fielder’s choice and the Rockies led 2-1 after five.

But Fernando Tatis Jr. came through in the clutch in the sixth with a two-RBI single and the Padres came from behind to take the series with a 3-2 win.
