July 8, 2023 (San Diego) - The Padres were robbed last night, so they tried again tonight.  David Peterson started for the Mets against Blake Snell.

Gary Sanchez scored and Matthew Batten hit a two-run homer in the second and the Padres led 3-0 after two.

Francisco Alvarez hit a deep homer to left in the seventh, but the Padres evened the series with a 3-1 win.
