CALIFORNIA SUES TRUMP ADMINISTRATION TO PROTECT CLEAN AIR AND AUTO EMISSION STANDARDS

May 2, 2018 (Sacramento) – California announced Tuesday that it will join 16 other states in a lawsuit against the Trump administration to stop Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Secretary Scott Pruitt from reversing fuel efficiency standards to protect clean air and reduce greenhouse gasses fueling climate change.

EPA RECOGNIZES FOOD RECOVERY EFFORTS OF RAMONA SCHOOL DISTRICT, OTHER SAN DIEGO ENTITIES

November 23, 2017 (San Diego) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of seven California winners participating in EPA’s Food Recovery Challenge. Winners include Sprouts Farmers Markets in Daly City and Carlsbad, Calif., Ramona High School in Ramona, Calif., Food Forward in North Hollywood, Calif., Cherokee Point Elementary School in San Diego, Calif., the City of San Diego and the San Diego International Airport.

EPA REMOVES CLIMATE SCIENCE WEBPAGES, PUTS PUBLIC IN DARK ON CRITICAL DATA

April 29, 2017 (Washington D.C.) – One week after hundreds of thousands joined a march for science nationwide on Earth Day to protest the Trump administration’s irrational anti-science stances, the Environmental Protection Agency has taken down its climate science website, the Washington Post reports.  The action came on the eve of today’s march calling for action to halt climate change.

February 19, 2017 (San Diego’s East County) -- Yesterday I sent my Congressional Representative, Duncan Hunter Jr., a message urging him not to weaken or dismantle our Environmental Protection Agency, as the 2017 Congress is threatening to do. If anything the agency needs strengthening and more funds to do their jobs. Today he responded, telling me the EPA is a big problem. I know something about the EPA in my line of work, so I felt obligated to respond:
