August 5, 2015 (La Mesa) -- On Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is proud to host a FREE electronic recycle waste activity between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event will be held in the parking lot of Grossmont Shopping Center, 5500 Grossmont Center Drive in La Mesa, between CHUZE Fitness and Fuddruckers restaurant.
This event is a FREE service to everyone to help properly dispose of old TV’s, computers, printers, VCR and DVD players, copiers, scanners, fax machines, toner cartridges and other approved items helping reduce improper and illegal dumping in our city and landfills. There will be a service charge of $5 for the disposal of microwave ovens. Items not accepted include refrigerators, washers, dryers, fluorescent light bulbs and household batteries.
