December 13, 2011 (La Mesa) -- Yesterday around 2:13 p.m., La Mesa Police received a call from an alert neighbor stating she saw two subjects climbing over her neighbor’s side fence in the 7900 block of Cinnabar Drive in La Mesa.
Officers responded to the area and surrounded the residence. A few minutes later, an officer saw one of the subjects jump over the fence and ran from the officer. After a short foot pursuit, the officer was able to detain the subject a block away. Officers continued their search and located the second suspect as he was attempting to leave the yard. Both suspects were juveniles arrested for residential burglary. One subject was also charged with resisting arrest.
There were no injuries during the incident.
