THE MISER OPENS OCT 7 AT GROSSMONT COLLEGE THEATRE; RUNS THROUGH OCT. 16

October 2, 2010 (El Cajon) -- The Grossmont College Theatre Arts Department will present The Miser, directed by Henry J. Jordan, Oct 7-9 and 13-16 at 7:30 pm and Oct 9 and 16 at 2:00 pm in the Stagehouse Theatre.  

 

The Miser, written by the famed French playwright Molière, stands out as one of the great comic masterpieces. Harpagon, a miserly father, creates the ultimate dysfunctional family when he decides to marry his son’s girlfriend, wreaking havoc with his daughter and her beau, all leading to a revelation which unveils the Miser’s true nature.

 

The public is invited to attend as the theatre begins its 2010-2011 Season with Molière’s classic. No food or drink is permitted in the Theatre. Children under 10 years of age are not permitted in the Theatre. Parking is free in lot #1.
 

General admission tickets cost $12, Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District faculty and staff, seniors and military personnel $11, and $10 for GCCCD students with ID.
