August 2, 2016 (San Diego) – After a much-needed win in a long game last night, the Padres wanted to do it again tonight with Luis Perdomo on the mound against Zach Davies for the Brewers.

This time, though, the Brewers got on the board first on a wild pitch in the fourth that Hernan Perez scored on from 90 feet away to make the score 1-0.

But the Padres tied the game at one in their half of the fourth with Derek Norris’ single that drove in Jabari Blash.

But as is always the case, the bad guys pulled out in front again.  Ryan Braun hit a solo homer in the sixth for a 2-1 Brewers lead.  The Brew added one more with Chris Carter’s RBI double that drove in Perez and the Crew went up 3-1.

The Padres crept closer with Blash’s single in the sixth that scored Wil Myers and made the score 3-2, but the rally would end there as the Brewers take game two 3-2.

Tomorrow’s game three is, as always, a matinee at 12:40 p.m.  Junior Guerra will start for Milwaukee against
