April 1, 2010 (Santee) – San Diego County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the County Sheriff’s Santee Station seek public help to locate Ramon Marruffo. Marruffo, who has also used the last name Tercero and a variant last name spelling (Marrufo), has been previously convicted of lewd or lascivious with a child under 14 years old, according to the Megan’s law registry.

“Ramon Marruffo is a potential third striker and could face a 25 years to life sentence in prison if convicted of this offense,” the Sheriff’s release states.

He is an American Indian, 51, with brown hair and eyes. He is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He was born August 24, 1958.

His last known address was 10035 Via Rita in Santee. As of March 17, 2010, Marruffo has moved out of that residence and has not registered a new address with law enforcement. This is a violation of his registrant conditions and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
