CONCERT SERIES UNVEILED FOR DREAMCATCHER AT VIEJAS

May 12, 2010 (Alpine)  – The DreamCatcher at Viejas Casino in Alpine announces a concert lineup featuring musical styles ranging from country to jazz, as well as rock, rhythm and blues. 

 

The series includes country legend Merle Haggard and other musical stars such as the Temptations, as well as a two-woman show, Vicki Lawrence and Mama, inspired by characters from the Carol Burnett TV comedy show.

  

The DreamCatcher at Viejas Casino seats approximately 700 people and provides an opportunity to catch well-established music superstars as well as rising stars in an up-close and personal setting.

Once again this year, $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Alpine School District’s music and math programs.

 

The concert series starts May 15 and runs through October 21.   DreamCatcher concert schedule is listed below (tickets on sale now unless otherwise noted):

Friday, June 11: Chick Corea Freedom Band with Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride, Roy Haynes

Friday, July 9: Boyz II Men
Saturday, July 10: Vicki Lawrence & Mama: A Two Woman Show (On sale April 30th)
Friday, August 13: George Benson
Sunday, August 15: Los Lonely Boys
Friday, August 27: Asia
Friday, October 8: Keith Sweat
Thursday, October 21: Taj Mahal | Vieux Farka Toure

 

Tickets to all concerts can be purchased at the V Shop inside the east entrance to the Viejas Casino, or online at http://viejas.frontgatetickets.com/index.php. Must be 21 and present a valid I.D.
