June 12, 2016 (Denver) – The Padres and Rockies wrapped up their series today.  Christian Friedrich took the mound for San Diego against Tyler Anderson making a surprise start for Colorado.

It was a quiet game until the sixth when, with the bases loaded, Ryan Raburn walked, scoring Charlie Blackmon and the Rockies took a 1-0 lead.

Jon Jay singled in the seventh, scoring Alexei Ramirez and the Padres tied the game at one.

But the Rockies took the lead right back on Mark Reynolds’ solo homer in their half of the seventh and Colorado took a 2-1 lead to the finish line and a series victory.  The Padres are now 3-19 in day games.

The Padres come home tomorrow for a three-game set against the Miami Marlins.  The first pitch is at 7:10 p.m.
