January 15, 2016 (San Diego) - Pitcher Drew Pomeranz and catcher Derek Norris avoided arbitration by signing deals Thursday, KUSI's Paul Rudy reports.
Norris' deal is for one year and $2.925 million. Pomeranz's deal is also for one year, but it is for $1.35 million.
Now that Pomeranz has signed a deal, Tyson Ross and Andrew Cashner are the only Padres pitchers left on the arbitration list.
The Padres also signed shortstop Alexei Ramirez on a one-year deal. Ramirez previously played with the Chicago White Sox.
