September 20, 2016 (San Diego) - After a close, much-needed win last night, the Padres looked for two in a row tonight with Paul Clemens on the mound against Archie Bradley for the Diamondbacks.

After an hour-long rain delay (really), the Padres got to work in the second.  Alex Dickerson drove a double to left field to score Ryan Schimpf and the good guys went up 1-0.

In the fourth, they got some breathing room with Adam Rosales’ sac fly to drive home Schimpf and the Padres led 2-0.

But that all went away in the sixth when Paul Goldschmidt launched a two-run bomb to tie the game at two.

But Goldy’s effort was in vain.  Rosales hit a two-run blast of his own and the Padres regained a two-run lead at 4-2.

Adam Rosales added one more with a sac fly in the eighth to score Wil Myers and the Padres took game two 5-2.

The finale of the series will be at 6:10 p.m. tomorrow.  Zack Greinke will start against the rookie Luis Perdomo.
