August 28, 2016 (Miami) - The Padres are probably still blinking in shock after they were able to get away with a 1-0 win last night.  But today was a new day.  Luis Perdomo was on the mound against Justin Nicolino for Miami.

In the second, the Marlins struck first.  After a double from J.T. Realmuto, Xavier Scruggs drove him in with a double and the fish took a 1-0 lead.

But not to worry; in the fourth, Alex Dickerson doubled and afterwards, Ryan Schimpf tripled to score him and the Padres tied the game at one. Luis Sardinas doubled to score Adam Rosales and the Padres moved out in front 2-1.  Rosales singled in the sixth, scoring Schimpf and the Padres extended their lead to 3-1.  That was all they needed as Perdomo pitched his first career complete game and the Padres took the series two games to one.

The Pads have an off day tomorrow before traveling to Atlanta to face the Braves on Tuesday to continue their sweep of the South.  The first pitch is at 4:10 p.m.
