POLICE SEEK MAN WHO KIDNAPPED WOMAN IN GREY PRIUS

September 27, 2011 (San Diego’s East County) – San Diego Police seek a gunman who forced his way into a woman’s 2009 Toyota Prius (license 6CID140) last night and terrorized his victim for several hours. The victim, kidnapped at 700 University Ave. in Hillcrest at 9 p.m., was driven to El Cajon and forced to handover money from an ATM machine, ECM news partner 10 News reports.

 

Her kidnapper than took her to Mission Valley, where he tied her up and put her in the trunk of the car, later dumping her off on eastbound Highway 94 near I-805 around 2:30 a.m.

 

The woman used a roadside callbox to contact police. The gunman drove off in the vicitm’s car and is still at large. He is described as a light-skinned man in his 20s, wearing a jacket and gloves.
