August 31, 2023 (San Diego) -- Crowley and the Port of San Diego broke ground for the shoreside charging station designed to provide clean energy for the company’s forth-coming zero-emissions tugboateWolf. Joined by key partners and community stakeholders, the ceremony marked a significant step forward in the industry’s journey to decarbonization and reduce emissions in the San Diego community.

November 12, 2020 (San Diego) -- The waterfront of San Diego Bay belongs to all Californians – and that includes the residents of inland communities such as Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, El Cajon, La Mesa, Santee and Lakeside. The Port of San Diego is a specially created district that manages this land and water by balancing multiple uses on 34 miles along the bay.

February 6, 2020 (San Diego)The California Air Resources Board (CARB) last week launched the Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) with the goal of cleaning up one of the state’s biggest economic sectors that is still reliant on heavy, fossil-fuel-powered equipment. CORE seeks to accelerate the deployment of zero-emission off-road freight equipment used at goods-movement hubs, including ports, distribution centers, airports, and rail yards.
