August 21, 2011 (San Diego) – Not every preschool ice skating, swimming, dance, gardening and sports as part of the curriculum. But the new RJ’s Preschool Academy at the Salvation Army Kroc Center will offer all of these activities and more.

The Christian preschool will open September 7, with an open house set for Tuesday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to noon.  Parents, kids and community members are invited to visit, enjoy refreshments and meet the program director.

Children ages 24 months through 5 years will be accepted. The preschool will also help children learn to read and write, provides potty training, and conducts annual hearing and vision tests.
Each student also receives a free Kroc Center Youth membership while enrolled.

The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center is located at 6845 University Avenue in San Diego, one block west of 70th Street near La Mesa.
