March 25, 2010 (Rancho San Diego)- “Success for 2010” and a “Buy Locally” community campaign are the themes for the Rancho San Diego Jamul Chamber of Commerce 4th Friday breakfast meetings, which are held at different locations each month. The next event will be held March 26 from 7:30-9 a.m. at The Press Box Lounge, 2990 Jamacha Rd, Rancho San Diego.

Speakers include Supervisor Dianne Jacob (photo, left), who will provide a comprehensive overview on the economy, and San Miguel Fire Chief August "Augie" Ghio, who will address hot topics including impacts of funding challenges on our region.

The RSDJ Chamber holds breakfasts and lunch events at a variety of locations showcasing member businesses. “This is a fun and exciting way to sample new foods and a chance for businesses to bring in new customers and shine”, said Valerie Harrison, chief executive officer, adding that supporting local businesses also helps boost the economy. The breakfast offers a marketing table for guests and a 15-second commercial opportunity to help guests promote their businesses or organizations each month at events that feature business development programs with quality speakers each month. “This is an ideal opportunity to build client relationships and improve your referral base, while networking with business and community leaders,” added Harrison.

The 4th Friday Sun-Up Breakfast event this month is hosted by Viejas Resort & Casino the Rancho San Diego-Jamul Chamber’ s premier casino and resort member.

The cost is $15.00 for members who RSVP by the March 25th and $20.00 for future members or at the door. For more information or fast and easy registration online, visit www.rsdjchamber.com, click link the Chamber Store, or RSVP by e-mail to chamber@rsdjchamber.com .
