LARGE CROWD SHARES CONCERNS AT RANCHO SAN DIEGO SHERIFF’S COFFEE WITH COMMUNITY

March 13, 2019 (Spring Valley) – Area residents packed into Butler’s Coffee Shop in Spring Valley this morning to share concerns over alleged drug houses, homeless camps, traffic concerns and more.  Interim Sheriff’s Station Captain Charles Cinnamo was on hand to answer questions, along with California Highway Patrol Commander Jason Penner and District Attorney community partnership prosecutor Monique Myers, who handles the East County region.

SHERIFF HOSTS COFFEE WITH COMMUNITY FOR SPRING VALLEY AND RANCHO SAN DIEGO AREAS

March 27, 2018 (Spring Valley) – The Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station will host a coffee with the community on Thursday, March 29 at the Spring Valley Teen Center, 838 Kempton Street in Spring Valley.

The Rancho San Diego substation serves communities from Mt. Helix south to Jamul.

April 17, 2015 (Spring Valley) – The Sheriff seeks public help to locate four suspects who fled the scene of a shooting Wednesday evening after one of the suspects shot a man in the head.

EAST COUNTY CRIME SPREE SUBJECT NOW IN CUSTODY

 

April 19, 2014 (Spring Valley)--A man wanted in connection with a crime spree in East County is now in custody. Kevin Knight (1/12/71) was arrested around 8:30 a.m. today (4/09/2014) near a Wendy's at the intersection of Campo Road and Spring Street in Spring Valley.
