SANTEE BURGARLY SUSPECT ARRESTED

 

January 13, 2016 (Santee) – A suspect reportedly caught in the act of burglarizing a home on Pasita de Kristy in Lakeside yesterday afternoon was apprehended a short time later during a routine traffic stop after fleeing the scene in a 2010 black Ford Ranger.  His truck contained stolen items from several recent burglaries, said deputies.

TV TOTING BURGLAR BUSTED—IN STOLEN VEHICLE

 
Suspect linked to burglaries in La Mesa and Spring Valley; additional suspects sought  
 
June 19, 2012  (Spring Valley) -- Yesterday at 1:34 p.m., Lemon Grove Station deputies received a call of a residential burglary in progress. The reporting party stated that he saw four young men running out of his neighbor's residence carrying a large screen projection television. The reporting party did not know if the neighbor was home, but reported he saw the suspects load the television into a green Toyota SUV type vehicle, and drive away.

PROGRESS MADE IN ALPINE VEHICLE BREAK-INS

 
February 25, 2012 (Alpine) – A series of vehicle break-ins has occurred recently in the Alpine area. “In the past two weeks, we caught two of the bad guys, linking them to Alpine area vehicle burglaries,” reports Paula H. Dickenson, USN retired, crime prevention specialist at the Alpine Sheriff Substation. But she said public help is needed, since vehicle burglaries continue to take place.
