SDG&E WORKERS FIND HUMAN REMAINS AT ALPINE HS SITE

March 25, 2015 (Alpine) – Homicide detectives are investigating the discovery of human remains in Alpine, the Sheriff’s department reports. According to Lieutenant John Maryon, it appears the remains have been there for quite some time.

WOMAN DIES AFTER ALLEGED ASSAULT IN EL CAJON

November 24, 2014 (El Cajon ) – Homicide detectives are investigating the death of Linda Sue Irwin, 53. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from Sharp Grossmont Hospital at 7:37 p.m. on November 19 to investigate an alleged assault on Ms. Irwin believed to have occurred in the El Cajon area between November 17th and 19th. Shortly after deputies arrived, the victim was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where she died this morning.

THIRD SUSPECT ARRESTED IN LEMON GROVE MURDER

April 4, 2012 (Lemon Grove) – On April 2, homicide detectives, with the assistance of the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task force, arrested another suspect in the March 14 murder of 23 year old Avel Michael Edgar that occurred in the 8200 block of Vernon Street in Lemon Grove. The suspect, 20 year-old Dasaun Roberts, of San Diego, was booked into the San Diego Central Jail for murder and the transportation/sales of marijuana.  He is currently being held with no bail.
