August 21, 2017 (Planet Earth) — As people across the nation sought out viewing areas, eclipse glasses and solar shields to photograph the eclipse,  the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) got the premier eclipse photo—shot from space.

"BLOOD MOON" TO BE VISIBLE

April 14, 2014 (San Diego)-- Tonight, San Diegans will be able to view a rare astronomical sight:  a blood moon, which is an unusual type of eclipse in which the moon appears red or orange.
