KRAFT RECALLS MACARONI AND CHEESE

March 18, 2015 – (San Diego’s East County) That familiar blue box dinner may have shards of metal in it.  Kraft has recalled its Macaroni & Cheese dinners, after receiving eight consumer complaints.

HUSQVARNA RECALLS CLOSED-COURSE/COMPETITION OFF-ROAD MOTORCYCLES DUE TO CRASH HAZARD

 

August 15, 2013 (San Diego's East County) -- Husqvarna this week announced a recall of its closed-course/competition off-road motorcycles due to crash hazard. The motorcycle's throttle cable can malfunction so the rider loses speed control, posing a crash hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission.

AMERICAN HONDA RECALLS PORTABLE GENERATORS DUE TO FIRE AND BURN HAZARDS

December 4, 2012 (Washington D.C.) – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with American Honda Motor Co. of Torrance, announces a voluntary recall of about 150,600 portable generators because fuel hoses can leak, posing fire and burn hazards. The products were sold at numerous retail outlets nationwide and online.

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

PEANUT BUTTER RECALL WIDENS TO INCLUDE OTHER NUT BUTTERS

September 26, 2012 (California) -- Sunland Inc., which makes the recalled Trader Joe’s Salted Valencia peanut butter, has now broadened its recall to include other nut-based spreads that may be contaminated with Salmonella. These include Target's Archer Farms and Earth Balance, manufactured between May 1 and Sept. 24, 2012. View the full list of products affected in Sunland's press release.
