SAN DIEGO HARP SOCIETY TO PERFORM FREE CONCERT AT MISSION TRAILS CHURCH, MARCH 8TH

February 14, 2020 (San Diego) -- The San Diego Harp Society will perform a free concert at the Mission Trails Church, 4880 Zion Avenue, San Diego,  CA 92120.   The concert will be from  3  - 4 p.m.   The church is located up Zion Avenue from the Kaiser Hospital.  There is plenty of free parking.  The church can accommodate 150 people.
 
Then San Diego Harp Society is a local chapter of the American Harp Society.   Harp students playing this year will be  Gigi Accomozzo, Emma MInami, Isabella McCormick, Lauren Colt, Sophie Dimmick, Anna Reynolds and Megan Apostol.
 
Every year the Society presents a recital of their advanced students.  This year there will be 7 young ladies, between the age of 13 and 17 playing tunes from the harp repertoire.   The Society has been with us for six years, the first five when we were at Mission Trails Regional Park.  In January 2019 the concerts moved to a new venue, Mission Trails Church.

CRIMSON RIVER CONCERT MAY 30 IN LAKESIDE

 

May 14, 2015 (Lakeside) - The Crimson River quartet will perform a free concert feature a rich blend of harmony on Saturday, May 30th at 6 p.m.  The concert will be held at the Lakeside Christian Church, 13739 El Monte Road, in Lakeside as the church celebrates 60 years at the site.

THE POMERADO BRASS QUINTET WILL PERFORM AT MISSION TRAILS PARK DEC. 16

November 14, 2012 (San Diego) – The Pomerado Brass Quintet will perform at Mission Trails Regional Park, One Father Junipero Serra Drive, on December 16 from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.  The free concert will feature music selected for the Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations presented in a variety of styles that will be certain to appeal to all who attend.

SILVERWOOD ENSEMBLE PERFORMS A FREE CONCERT AT MISSION TRAILS ON NOV. 18

November 14, 2012 (San Diego) – Diane Wilson’s SilverWood Ensemble will perform at the Mission Trails Visitor Center Theater on November 18 at 3 p.m.  The ensemble includes Wilson on flute and Vania Pimentel on piano.  They will perform works by Villa-Lobos, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others in a concert entitled “Brazilian Special”.

WINE, CHEESE AND CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISING EVENT AND FREE CONCERT THIS WEEKEND AT MISSION TRAILS REGIONAL PARK

September 27, 2012 (San Diego) -- Soroptimist International of San Diego is holding their 3rd annual Wine, Cheese and Chocolate fundraising event on September 28, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm in the Visitor Center Lobby/Terrace. A silent auction will feature a gorgeous solid body electric guitar donated by Taylor Guitars! In addition there will be music by members of the San Diego Native American Flute Circle. Also, the San Diego Astronomy Association will have a large telescope on the terrace for a spectacular look at the stars and planets. For more information and to purchase tickets go here.
