April 18, 2018 (San Diego) - East County’s San Diego Festival Chorus presents its spring concert on April 29th with Rutter’s "Requiem" and songs from "West Side Story" and "The Wizard of Oz".

The "Requiem" comes from the Englishmen, John Rutter. It is a contemporary masterwork, a beautiful, simple requiem with an appeal to all who hear it.

October 23, 2017 (San Diego) -- Ready for some good sounds of the season to get you into the holiday spirit?  On Sunday, December 10th at 3 p.m. The San Diego Festival Chorus and Orchestra will be presenting their concert entitled "Sounds Good," at College Avenue Baptist Church at 4747 College Avenue in San Diego.  This musical offering will consist of the Christmas portion of Handel's beloved "Messiah" along with selections of popular holiday music.  The Chorus is some 70 singers strong, the orchestra is 48 pieces and this concert, conducted by founder and director Anthony V. Mostardo, will also feature some of our fine local soloists

Choral members also needed

November 30, 2015 (Rancho San Diego) – The San Diego Festival Chorus performs "Joyous Music for the Season" on December 6 at 3 p.m. in the College Avenue Baptist Church.   The program features an 80-voice chorus and 48-piece symphony orchest in its 15th season, perfoming Mendelssohn's "Hymn of Praise" and a unique arrangement of  holiday music.

 

Cost: Adults $17, Seniors and students $15, Children under 12 yrs $5, Military free

SAN DIEGO FESTIVAL CHORUS REHEARSALS BEGIN - NEW MEMBERS WELCOME

 

September 30, 2013 (San Diego’s East County) – The San Diego Festival Chorus is a non-audition, 70-member chorus with singers from all across East County.  Beginning its 13th season, the group has performed everything from Beethoven to Broadway and everything in between.  The chorus has two concerts in December and May with its 45- piece orchestra for audiences of up to 1200.  The chorus also does outreach performances.
