November 12, 2021 (El Cajon) – Parkway Plaza shopping mall in El Cajon will host a job fair on Saturday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

“There are a range of positions available from seasonal to full-time/management positions,” says Petra Rich, marketing and business development manager for Parkway Plaza. “These opportunities provide great flexibility and extra holiday cash. We will have opportunities with Pandora, Tilly’s, Cabrera and Associates, Sunglasses Hut and more.”

February 15, 2012 (Poway) — Representative Duncan Hunter (R-El cajon)--announced today that he will host another community job fair, in partnership with the East and North County Career Centers, and the San Diego North and Poway Chambers of Commerce. The event will be held February 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the Poway Community Center auditorium, 13094 Civic Center Drive.  Admission is free.

HIRE A HERO - HIRE A VET JOB FAIR NOV.3

November 1, 2011 (Sacremento) -- Assemblymember Marty Block has announced Hire a Hero - Hire a Vet, a job fair that focuses on presenting job opportunities for service members returning from war. Block especially wants to let everyone know about the job fair so they can let the vets themselves,  or someone they know about it.


The fair is focused on connecting Veterans, National Guard, and Reservists returning from active duty to companies currently hiring. The event is free and open to the public. Members of Block's staff will be available at the event to answer any state-related questions or concerns.

June 20, 2010 (El Cajon) -- Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-El Cajon) will host a community job fair today from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in partnership with the East County Career Center and Cuyamaca College. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the student center at Cuyamaca College.900 Rancho Diego Parkway in El Cajon.

“A strong job market is the cornerstone of a strong economy,” said Congressman Hunter. “Thousands of individuals ready to rejoin the workforce turned out to meet with local businesses at the previous job fair. This time, the event will be at an even larger venue with many community businesses and career advisors on hand.”

April 19, 2009 (Santee CA) – The Santee Chamber of Commerce is partnering again with Congressman Duncan Hunter Junior to hold a Community Job and Resource Fair.

The event is intended to bring businesses, veterans and qualified job seekers together, and will be held Monday, June 21, 2010, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Student Center of Cuyamaca College, 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway, El Cajon CA 92019.
