April 17, 2015 (San Diego’s East County) - A new poll confirms California's solar revolution appears to be unstoppable. The respondents were parents, 81% of whom said they want to live in a solar powered home. The majority, 67%, also wants solar to be the world's primary energy source when their children grow up.

POLICE INVESTIGATE DOUBLE MURDER IN SABRE SPRINGS; SUSPECT ARRESTED

 

February 21, 2011 --San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit detectives have arrested a suspect for the murders of two people inside an apartment at 10946 Evening Creek Drive in Sabre Springs. The victims have been identified as Bernabe Magno Villamar, 26, of Spring Valley and Valerie Marabante, 23, who rented the apartment. Her estranged husband, Melchor Marabante, was arrested at a hospital in Murrieta and has been charged with the murders.

5 YOUTHS IN HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH TRUCK, TEEN GIRL DEAD IN SABRE SPRINGS

 

May 29, 2010 (Sabre Springs) BreAnna Erickson, 17, died from injuries sustained in a head-on crash with a truck on Sabre Springs Parkway near Creekbridge Place at 5:39 p.m. last night. A friend was driving the car at a high speed but lost control, according to the Coroner’s office. Four other young people were also in the car, San Diego Police report.
