TIME JUMPERS BRING GRAMMY-AWARD WINNING NASHVILLE STARS TO ESCONDIDO PERFORMING ARTS CENTER SEPT. 29



 

September 6, 2015 (Escondido)-- The California Center for the Arts, Escondido will present The Time Jumpers, an assemblage of some of Nashville's most gifted musicians performing at the Center on Tuesday, September 29. Led by 20-time GRAMMY® winner and Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill, as well as Kenny Sears and Ranger Doug Green, The Time Jumpers quickly developed a monumental following while earning four GRAMMY® nominations. With unprecedented talent and a strong affinity for western swing, the group continues to expand the richness and vigor of country music.

September 20, 2014 (Escondido) -- Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will wow audiences as part of The California Center for the Arts, Escondido's 20th Anniversary 2014/2015 season with a special Halloween show on Friday, October 31, 2014 in the Concert Hall. Redefining a previously under-the-radar instrument, the critically acclaimed slinger combines elements of jazz, blues, funk, rock, bluegrass, folk, and flamenco, fully revealing his musical dexterity. Shimabukuro has appeared on television shows including Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel Live, he's earned notable fans such as Eddie Vedder and Sanjay Gupta, and performed for the likes of the Queen of England. July 1, 2014 (Escondido)--California Center for the Arts, Escondido (the Center) reaches a major milestone this year, celebrating its 20th Anniversary season with an exceptional line-up of acclaimed performers, including The Blind Boys of Alabama, Garrison Keillor, Merle Haggard, Pink Martini, Jake Shimabukuro, Harlem Gospel Choir, Whose Live Anyway, La Santa Cecilia, Kathleen Madigan, Pilobolus, Peking Acrobats, Jazzreach with Metta Quintet, Sirena Huang, Paul Galbraith, Mariachi Sol de Mexico, Lúnasa with Special Guest Karan Casey, Alberta Ballet, Jiayan Sun, Venice Baroque Orchestra, 2Cellos, Han Bin Yoon, and many more.
